Temporary Introduction

Hello!

I've decided to create a blog about stand up comedians. I haven't planned this out enough to know just yet, but I hope to post up a little info on each and every comic (I know of) to spread the word, (and to feel important/pretend I'm doing something worthwhile).

I struggle to see the value in personal blogs, (about how bad your day was or how bad your cats day was), but in more recent times information-type blogs have been very good to me. So, couple that together with one of my favourite art-forms, (that isn't too pretentious, is it?) and one day this might be a handy directory of professional witty people making other people laugh, (and maybe think).

I obviously don't claim to be some industry expert, but I have enough of an ego to convince myself that I have amazing taste and that you should all listen to me.

So, for now, (if this is the only blog entry on this page) I'd like to invite you to come back some time soon or maybe even bookmark the page. Hopefully this place will service more than just my false sense of self-importance.
